I made the stems out of pipe cleaners for the paper flowers, floral wire for the heavy beaded ones, the ones using floral pips were pretty straight forwards, just fold the pips in half, wrap a wire around them, and then add the petals. Bought some plastic glitter flowers from Michaels around Christmas time (the gold leafy looking things), and just cut those apart and put them on individual pipe cleaners. Then, once it looked like I had enough, I started using floral tape to wrap stems that looked good together, then went back and paired up those, and so on until I more or less had my bouquet together. I wrapped some little LEDs in the blossoms too, so the whole thing lit up. hid the batteries in the handle, and used this tutorial to finish it off nicely:
